Stradivarius String Quartet, 4 p.m., Earth Garden Café stage — Not the Portland Stradivarius String Quartet and, heavens no, not the Dallas quartet of the same name, it’s the mysterious and elusive Salt Lake City Stradivarius String Quartet, celebrated for its haunting renditions of Irminsul Tranquillo and Tool’s Lateralus among others. Rumor has it they will perform at 4 p.m. on the Earth Garden Café Stage, but with a string quartet this mysterious, who can really guess. They might be performing silently behind you as we speak.
Doug Wintch & Anke Summerhill – 7:15 p.m., Earth Garden Café Stage – Munich born, world-wise folkster Anke Summerhill is a singer with a sensitive ear and a writer of quiet poetic grandeur. If you’re feeling weary, lay your burdens down at the Earth Garden stage at 7:15 p.m. for a heart hug and a meditative moment with this bright eyed songsmith.
